Thirty Percent Coalition appoints new Board Directors at its Annual Meeting

September 5, 2017 - News Release – At its annual meeting held today, the Thirty Percent Coalition Board of Directors voted for the appointment of six new Directors:

  • Esther Aguilera - CEO, Latino Corporate Directors Association
  • Emily Culp - Chief Marketing Officer, Keds
  • Lisa Hayles - Vice President, Boston Common Asset Management
  • Karlie Ilaria - Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Paul Hastings
  • Leslie Mays - Partner, Mercer
  • Meredith Miller - Chief Corporate Governance Officer, UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust

The Executive Committee was elected for a one year term and includes:

  • Rhonda Mims, President - Senior Vice President, WellCare Health Plans
  • Amanda Packel, Vice President - Deputy Director, Rock Center for Corporate Governance
  • Julie Kanak, Secretary - Managing Director, Diversified Search
  • Elissa Sangster, Treasurer - Executive Director, Forté Foundation

“We would like to welcome our new Coalition board members, who represent our diverse membership base. We are living in exciting times and I look forward to working with them and our current board as we work toward achieving the mission of the Coalition and growing the organization for a sustainable future,” said Rhonda Mims, President of the Thirty Percent Coalition. “I would also like to extend our warm thanks to our outgoing board members for their service and dedication in bringing the Coalition to where we are today,” Mims continued.

  • Deirdre Joy Smith - Founder & CEO, POWER: Opening the Doors for Women
